We at Indus Village serve the most delicious and authentic Pakistani cuisine in the Bay Area. How do we know for sure? Our customers tell us so! Once our customers taste our hearty, flavorful, home-cooked dishes, they don't go anywhere else. A regular customer is a permanent customer at Indus Village.
What's our secret? There is no big, exciting secret, just fresh ingredients, carefully chosen recipes and a constant desire to exceed our own standards. We know that a dish is only as good as the ingredients we put in it, which is why we select the highest quality meat, vegetables and spices for our kitchen. Our recipes have been passed down for generations and have withstood the test of time. Every dish we serve is our very best!
While many people are familiar with Indian food, Pakistani cooking is less well-known. It has much in common with Indian cooking, but it differs in several significant ways. You'll find more meat in Pakistani dishes, particularly beef and lamb. This makes our cooking rich and distinctive. A popular dish at Indus Village is our Lamb Curry, which is spiced with our own special curry powder blend. Our Kiima Naan, or white flatbread filled with ground meat, is a homey Pakistani comfort food.
We use a mesquite-fired clay oven for our Tandoori dishes. The tandoor gives our meat a delicious smoky, seared flavor. Try our Chicken Tikka , Lamb Chops or any of our Kabob dishes to discover just how juicy and tasty these dishes can be.
As much as we love meat, we love vegetables, too! Vegetarians will find plenty to enjoy on our menu. Our Palaak Paneer, which is a creamy and rich combination of spinach and mild cottage cheese, is a perennial favorite. Our Veggie Combo includes lentils and vegetables served alongside both naan and Basmati rice.
